An extract from Chapter One: I'm on my way.
It was a magnificent and mysterious site. But things got
a lot more secretive when we entered the road of our destination. Before
entering the road, we had to go under a tunnel, a very dark one. When we came out
of the dark tunnel, we were in a completely different place. All cold and
foggy. The children in the bus grabbed their shirts so tightly as all of them
were shivering. Nothing could be seen. It was so foggy that all of us were
wondering how the driver could see the road. This was one more thing that made
me sure that this is a mysterious place. I mean where can you get a driver who
can still see through thick fog, a place that suddenly becomes foggy after
going through a tunnel and a place which is never heard before.
The only thing we could see as we went further ahead was
a dark figure becoming more and more clearer as we went more and more further.
Then the bus stopped in front of a very tall building covered by mist. The
driver asked us all politely to get down. He then went to tell the ones sitting
up that it was time to get off. But while I was getting down I just stared in
his eyes just to see that he was staring at me!
He didn’t even look away when I was staring at him and
suddenly, he smiled. He had a look on his face and in his eyes that made me
feel as if he were trying to assure me that whatever I came here to find, I
would get. One more feeling I got was that his look made me feel as if he was
really happy to see me, as if I were meant to be here. After I got down the last
step, I heard him whisper “All the best.“ I wondered why?
